Support for skills that make learning possible.
Sagewood Learning provides small-group coaching in executive functioning, emotional regulation, and social skills for high-functioning neurodiverse and twice-exceptional children.
We've been there.
Your child is capable.
But staying focused is hard.
Transitions can be overwhelming.
Big emotions take over.
Social situations feel confusing or exhausting.
And you’re left wondering:
“Why does something that seems simple feel so hard for them?”
Sagewood Learning Lab
For curious kids, and their families
It’s not a motivation problem.
It’s not a behavior problem.
It's just skill sets being maxed out.
Executive functioning, emotional regulation, and social skills aren’t things children just “pick up”, especially for neurodiverse learners.
They need to be taught, practiced, and supported thoughtfully and mindfully so your child can grow at their own pace.

What we do at Sagewood Learning
We provide a structured, small-group environment where students build the skills they need to function with greater independence and confidence.
Our work focuses on three core areas:
Executive Function Coaching
Students learn skills that might help them:
-
increase tolerance for non-preferred tasks
-
sustain focus
-
develop flexible thinking
-
pause before acting rather than reacting
Nervous System Regulation
Students increase their knowledge of:
-
their nervous system
-
body signals within their environment
-
emotional awareness
-
what body signals might be telling them
-
tools to manage overwhelm and frustration
-
strategies to return to a calm, regulated state
Social Skill Development
Students practice:
-
communication and conversation
-
reading social cues
-
flexibility and perspective-taking
-
personal and social boundaries
-
building confidence with peers

Meet the Founder
Sagewood Learning was created by an experienced educator with over a decade in student success, a background in counseling, and direct experience working with neurodiverse students.
As both an educator and a parent, I’ve seen how often capable children are misunderstood: not because they lack ability, but because they haven’t been given the right kind of support.
This work focuses on helping children build the skills that enable them to succeed in school, in relationships, and in everyday life.
Let’s Talk About Your Child
If you’re looking for support that goes beyond academics and focuses on the skills that truly make a difference, I'd love to connect.
